-Virginia Wine Festival is now at Gateway Park Rosslyn in Arlington, VA – right across from Georgetown off the Key Bridge! Be sure to review the questions and answers below for the most up-to-date information on this year’s event!
-Location: Gateway Park, 1300 Lee Highway, Arlington, VA 22205 – right across from Georgetown – Amazing views of DC and the Potomac!
-Date & Time: Saturday/Sunday, October 13th & 14th, 2018 – Noon (VIP gets 1 hour earlier access at 11 am) to 6 pm each day
-Ticket Information: Your tickets will NOT be mailed to you, you should bring a printed copy of the email confirmation that you received when you placed your order or your cell phone with an Eventbrite email/app and a photo ID. You must have a valid ID and be of legal drinking age to consume alcohol at the event. Will call is at the event entrance on the day of the event, you’ll see signs and tents. General Admission Ticket and VIP Tickets INCLUDE unlimited wine samples to taste at the event – PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBILY!
Where is the Entrance? Details will be updated for 2018 – we are literally 2 blocks away from Rosslyn Metro and walking distance from Georgetown. As always, our events are Rideshare accessible and this event is walkable from Georgetown. Many parking garages in the area.
-Box Office & Tasting Times: Tastings, glass and open bottle sales all begin at 11 am for VIP, Noon for General Admission and end at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (30 minutes before the end of the Festival). Unopened Bottles and Case SALES continue through close (6 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday).
-Parking Access: We’re working on transportation details, but area garages are spread throughout Rosslyn, VA.
-Food: Yes! But it’s not included in your ticket price – we will not only have food trucks and gourmet food vendors (we take food choices very seriously!), but there will be the VA Oyster Pavilion with both fresh shucked oysters and oysters prepared in various dishes (Menu Soon..).
We are going predominantly CASHLESS!
You will need a credit/debit card to purchase Day-Of Admission Tickets. This year food is direct purchase from our gourmet food trucks and vendors (NO Food Tickets!). Beer will be available through our beer trucks and beer tickets will be required (we’ll have Beer Ticket booths throughout the venue).

Can I Bring My Child to the Festival? Of course! Children 6 y/o and under are free, but please purchase an “Underage” ticket for your child who is over 6 y/o. Although Children are welcome, there are few activities for them, so take that into consideration before you purchase tickets.
If I Exit the Festival, Can I Reenter? Yes, and you do not need to wait in line again, as long as you still have your wristband on.
-Designated Driver: With a Designated Driver ticket, you will be wrist-banded differently and will not be able to taste or purchase wine or any beer or cider.
-Dogs/Pets: No pets. Service dogs are welcome but must register in advance and onsite upon arrival with all proper documentation.
Prohibited Items (the below items will NOT be allowed into the Festival and may be confiscated before entry)
- Outside food or beverages, Illegal substances or weapons of any kind, Pets and other animals (besides Service Animals), No smoking inside festival grounds
All bags are subject to inspection by Festival staff
Welcomed Items: Blankets, chairs, bags/coolers (but no outside food or drinks), reasonably sized shade canopies. If bringing a small canopy, please do not block the view of the stage from other guests!
NO PETS, NO UNAUTHORIZED VENDING, NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL,
NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES, NO EXCEPTIONS!
